mental swings

m

Think a good thought,
The fortune swells
To an upward swing.
Doubt a good deed,
The doom dwells
In tide of events string
To a path downward.
It’s the cerebral engine,
Thought and doubt its function,
Diametric dots of proactive mind.

( Mental swings in our minds determine the quality of our lives.)

To call it……..

T

The beautiful morn
Spreads its sweetness,
The lone humming voice,
Reminds of eternity
Which flows,
An eternity dramatic
In its denouement,
Graceful and hinting of
The smile of achievement,
Some may call it frivolity,
Some may call it fantasy,
But I call it ...................

( Sometimes it is difficult to express our thoughts and feelings in words)

a song

a

World is a fleeting blissGleaming with melody,Time is a dancing tune,Swaying with sanity,Steal the heart of melody,To make the world a comedy,Sunlight is the time,Music is the rhyme,Or else you lose in grimeAnd forget the song of time.

(Make the most of happiness in life, Sing the song of life)

moving to light

m

A sensation of darkness grips me, With no feel of redeeming brightness And a sensation of brightness ropes me To a colourful gleaming spriteness, Not deluding myself in dreams, Achievements and encounters in schemes, Obstacles, not a deterrent, Success is the determinant, A life of sunshine and thrill, The game of cosmic will. ( If a person aligns oneself to cosmic will, obstacles are not a...

discrimination

d

The woman you attract, The reason you detract,

The life you announce,
The death you denounce,

The den you enter,
The land you deter,

The hunger you assert,
The soul you desert,

The minute you rejoice,
The hour you tremor,

The excuse you make,
Looking for a break,
With no will to discriminate.

( Infatuation has led to pitfalls. Very often, it is not love.)

Casement

C

Let us forget the misdeeds of humans,
Claiming no superior vein,
Let’s partake the world’s pleasures,
Good or bad,
Only for the effect it brings,
Purging our ignorance,
Reopening the casements of
Wider delights
And gains healthier than humans.

( Much of the suffering in this world is caused by humans. It is difficult to forget and forgive their misdeeds}

A MENTAL BLOCK

A

Host of meaningless words,Come rushing into ears,They are thrusted on me forcefully,They have clouded unknowingly,Around an indolent mind. Culture, technology, communication,Nothing but words of humiliation,Unaffected, uneventful, they passInto an ignorant world of gross. I, an impermeable skull,Find it good to dope,Having in it no hope,It is a mental block,Not of the superior flock. ( Students...

A SHOOTING LECTURER

A

A circuit of electrifying experience, Of cinematic world in jerks, Bleaks, blasts, glamour and perks, His dreamy eyes bathed in books, Takes on an intellectual look, He has attuned himself to shots, To unwind the difficult knots, Naughty jokes twinkle in his eyes, Never does he express a sigh, His mind has given to treat, The spirit of an evolving art, He excels in artistic cell, Of cinema still...

static lecture

s

Serious negation is the lecture,Opening an opaque aperture,The meaningless words crowd,The classroom to resound,To every word is a syllable added,Wary slimy words get sprayed,Into a tremulous ‘i:z’,Fancied fun left for drowsy glum,With silence sleeping,With wakeful mourningAnd brains resting,Static fixtures,Static gestures,A static lecture. ( A student searches for new thoughts or information in...

SPINNING THROUGH IGNORANCE

S

Ignorance slits a human’s throat, Unknowingly as that of a goat, He clings to the world, Considers lightly as a bird, Flies high in worldly venture, Fret and fury its features, Floods, fumes foil human, Mauled by life’s events, Caught in a cyclonic sink, Whirls round and round A nucleus of depression, Drowns in fury and despair. (Life is tough in this world. We need a strong mind to face it. We...
