a spinster’s dilemma

a

Into avenues I wander,
To seek a wonder
Of happiness in matrimony,
Unsettled in my emotion,
I have no formulation,
The doubts toss me heavily
From side to side,
On which I ride,
The wrestle within is alive,
The calmness within me has died,
Only if I mend my mental feature,
Mortal love will beam into laser
And be strengthened to fulfilment,
Or else be frozen into a metal,
Then none can affront
The steady calm.

( It is difficult to decide on marriage because it is a gamble. Sometimes a spinster thinks it is better to be unmarried and lead a calm life)
