The daily monotonous mechanical strife,
With no adventurous spill in love and life,
Trains droning monotonous rhythms,
Weary mind bound to a dreary tune,
Buses and cars with hoots and horns,
Petrol and diesel burning on and on,
People rush in trains to get out
Like water gushing from large spouts.
The empty dreary work of utility,
Is the actual world of reality,
Mind which does not adhere to law,
Finds itself in a fatal jaw,
The hour seems to be trailing and dreary,
To drench us in the drain of monotony,
Mind is chained to a static sleep,
No chance for tears to weep.
(When life becomes a routine, it becomes monotonous)
