sleep

My mind gets on to a trip,
                                    When drowsiness unknown grips,
                                    The movement of thoughts unrestrained,
I am in the world of indolence,
                                    Absolved and unconstrained,
                                    Sweetest slumber envelops me,
                                    Soft, sluggish, cosy,
                                    I descend into sleep,
                                    Sleep shrouds me in vain,
                                    It cannot remain,
                                    Since the noisy whimsical world,
                                    Breaks my transit into sleep.

( Sleep is akin to peace when there is no disturbance.)
