RAIN

R

Glittering drops of rain,
Fall on the parched earth,
Shaken up with thirst,
Nourishing the earthy bowel,
Food for beings spring,
Sight of green is an offering,
Stretching towards eternity.

Eager, wealthy and healthy grass
Is bestowed to lie on,
Cool fresh and serene.
Magnanimous green leaves,
Bend to slip down drops,
Glittering as though in a dream,
The overwhelming greenery,
Rules dormant indolent minds,
Wrought by cares and fears.

(This is the first poem, I have written when I was a teenager.)
